Catching up...
General Chemistry:
Tuesday we had the Gala aud block 1 and we were in the computer lab the other half of the block doing research on our adopted elements. Wednesday was an advisory day and we worked on finishing p. 80 in the binder. Posters over the elements are due next Wednesday 2.1.12; models of the elements (optional work for extra credit) are due next Friday 2.3.12. Page 80 is due Thursday and we will review material from the week for the quiz that will take place on Friday.
Midterms are creeping ever closer... If you are still missing assignments, they need to be taken care of by FRIDAY FEBRUARY 3rd in order for them to count.
A.P. Chemistry:
Tuesday we took a quiz over Chapter 14; Wednesday we worked some examples from Chapter 16. Thursday will include time for people to make up quizzes and more examples from Chapter 16 along with some work time. Memorize me quiz on Friday as usual and the Chapter 16 test will be Friday February 3. See above note about midterms and missing work.
The purpose of this site is two-fold: (1) keep parents and students informed of day-to-day activities of the classes I teach and (2) provide additional/advanced/current information about chemistry for your enjoyment.
Have some fun!
