Sorry for the delay in these posts...
General Chemistry:
Wed = work day on a variety of items: finishing the Density Activity, finishing the Density HW, working on the 2 lab reports that are due FRIDAY, working on Cornell Notes due FRIDAY (Chapter 1 sections 2 & 3), working on the density HW assigned today and due THURSDAY, and finishing p. 81 on the periodic table. We concluded the day by grading the density HW on p. 68-70.
Thurs = we graded the density HW on p. 71-73, then color coded a few periodic tables. We also discussed more about the lab write-ups and a sample writeup was handed out for the Density Lab.
Friday will include a quiz, a journal, updated grades, and a lab experience.
AP Chem:
Wed = we finished discussing Chapter 14 and assigned some problems to try (but will not be graded) - these problems will be discussed on Friday and Monday. Quiz over this chapter will be next Tuesday. Lab tomorrow.
Thursday = Experiment 15 - Freezing Point Depression
The purpose of this site is two-fold: (1) keep parents and students informed of day-to-day activities of the classes I teach and (2) provide additional/advanced/current information about chemistry for your enjoyment.
Have some fun!
