Wednesday 8.24.11

General Chemistry:

Today we discussed the notes from Chapter 1 and graded the worksheets on Isolating Variables and Scientific Notation.  We also discussed (briefly!) conversion factors.  No homework tonight unless you want to get started on p. 13-25, which covers conversion factors.

Tomorrow - more on conversion factors, some time to work, and we'll check the worksheet on Significant Figures.


Advanced Chemistry:

Today was a work day for Chapter 1 EOC problems (see the post from 8.23 for the assignment!) and to prep the labs for Advanced Chemistry Experiments 1, 2, and 3 (which are found in Appendix H of your workbooks).  The assignment is DUE FRIDAY!!

Tomorrow and Friday - LAB - DRESS APPROPRIATELY!!!
(Block 2 - be prepared to work fast if the vampires have you during Block 2 tomorrow... Block 4 - be prepared to work VERY fast due to potential vampires on Thursday and the pep aud scheduled for Friday!!)
