Monday 8.22.11

General Chemistry:

After working on policies, procedures, and safety last week, please make sure you have taken care of the following:
  • Parent Signatures on the syllabus and safety contract
  • Parent Info Form
  • Paper Towels brought in
  • Hand Soap/Dish Soap/Kleenex/Hand Sanitizer brought in
Today (Monday) --> We began work on Chapter 1 Notes (the background info of Chemistry) and also on the workbooks p. 1 - p. 12 (mini-math lessons on Significant Figures, Isolating Variables in Equations, and Operations with Scientific Notation).

For Tomorrow, please have notes done (in Cornell Style) for Chapter 1 Section 1 and the mini-math lesson on Isolating Variables done.


AP Chemistry:

Monday, you got an introduction to the CD-ROM and the Blogpage, and we discussed Chapter 1 Sections 1 through 7. 

For Tomorrow, please have Chapter 1 Section 8 read and ready to discuss.
