Wednesday 11.3.10 AP Chemistry

Today:
  • Bell Ringers - complex ion naming and e- configs
  • Discuss Noble Gas Notation
  • Discuss Orbital Notation (Box) Diagrams
  • Discuss Quantum Numbers (again... but with clarity!)

For Tomorrow:

  • LAB DAY - come prepared!! Making solutions and titrating!!

and then for Friday:

  • Check HW (p.366+ #'s 2,4,6,12,14,18,22)
  • MMQ2 - colors and logs
  • RP2 - reactants only - available on here (scroll down to the gold-colored type!!)
  • Discuss Lab (briefly)
  • Bonding notes :-) Possibly some bonding problems to work on over the weekend...

Of Interest...

I hope to do a quiz over Chapter 5 stuff (a bit of reactions, net ionic equations, solubility, redox intro stuff, oxidation numbers) and the 'other' topics we've been covering (e-configs, quantum numbers, etc,) on TUESDAY NOVEMBER 9th... just fyi.
