Tuesday 11.2.10 AP Chemistry

Today:
  • Checked HW from Chapter 22 (p. 1104) and from Chapter 5
  • Discussed electron configurations and using p. 345 in Kotz
  • Discussed the 'glitch' elements (Cr and down... Cu and down) for configurations
  • HW on e- configurations: p.366+ #'s 2,4,6,12,14,18,22 --> due FRIDAY

Tomorrow:

  • Noble Gas Notation
  • Orbital Notation Diagrams
  • Quantum Numbers (revisited)

Of Interest:

  • Lab Thursday - titrations (I think...)
  • MMQ2 on Friday = colors of solutions and logs
  • RP2 (reactants only) due FRIDAY
