Tuesday 11.9.10 General Chemistry

Today:
  • Discussed (but did not grade) WS on single/double replacement
  • Handed out another page of notes - summary of reactions and predicting products
  • Discussed synthesis/combination and decomposition reactions
  • New WS on synthesis and decomposition --> due tomorrow
  • Also bookwork p. 264#2, 4 and p.269-271#24, 26, 27, 28, 29. 43 (#21,32, and 33 are extra credit)

For tomorrow:

  • Finish both worksheets and the bookwork

Tomorrow:

  • Grade worksheets and bookwork
  • Discuss molar mass calculations
