Tuesday 8.31.10 General Chemistry

Today:

  • Library computers - Packet #4 / How to use Microsoft Excel to graph data
  • Discuss Density of Water Lab - how to report data and what else needs to be done
  • Discussed how to determine the number of sig figs in a value

For Tomorrow:

  • p. 47-48 - the example and practice sections - look through these and try them (the answers are right there)
  • p. 57 #2 ONLY - we'll check these tomorrow at the beginning of class!

Non-Advisory Wednesday

  • Check p. 57 #2
  • Finish discussing Sig Figs (rules of engagement for calculations)
  • Another short homework assignment... due Thursday
