Tuesday 2.21.12 - Tuesday 2.28.12

General Chemistry:

Tuesday 2.21 - Review for the district assessment on the Periodic Table (which is tomorrow)
Wednesday 2.22 - Periodic Table Assessment
Thursday 2.23 - Grade assessment; start notes on bonding.  Quiz tomorrow!
Friday 2.24 - Quiz, journal, grade update, activity (gold pennies)

Monday 2.27 - sub day - notes over formula mass and percent composition and a video over black holes.  HW = p. 114 and 124 in your binders
Tuesday 2.28 - catch up from yesterday.  Grade quiz from Friday, notes over Molecular names and formulas, time to work.  HW = p. 114 (finish - sort them and name the molecular compounds); p. 124 (finish all for formula masses, for #'s 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 - calculate the percent composition (#12 is extra credit for % composition)); textbook p. 235 #'s 10 and 11.  For more help with molecular naming and formulas, please see p. 211-213 in your textbooks.

Tuesday 2.28 - work Chapter 18 problems.  Test over Chapter 18 coming up on FRIDAY.
